Brittany’s Baby Shower
Because I would like to eventually go into wedding planning, I get very excited when an oppurtunity to throw a party comes about. So of course, when a good friend of mine go pregnant, a few friends and I were able to put on the cutest little shower.
Check out a few pictures:
The main colors were baby pink and hot pink with splashes of lime green. These fun flowers are made of tissue paper and added a large flash of color to the room for under $5.

Strawberry Cake Balls Covered in Sprinkles
Dr. Seuss Lemon Cake Balls
I bought mini Terra Cotta Pots from Walmart (under $1) and painted them with acrylic white paint. Then, filled the pots with garden foam and fake moss. Then, made the cake balls and placed a stick into the cake ball. The stick was then plunged into the foam.
I found these water bottle covers at Bump Smitten.
After we ate and chit-chatted for a while, we decorated onesies.
Here’s a few of the finished ones.
Then, we played a game.
I hung streamers on the windows and had the girls bring baby pictures of themselves.
Everyone guessed who they thought the pictures were of and the winner got a prize.
This fun little board had baby pictures of Mommy Brittany and Daddy Truitt. In the middle is one of those weird baby face morph projections that I made on MorphThing.
On the way out, we had all of our guests write a little blessing or prayer for baby Kaylin.
Here’s Momma Brittany and the hostesses!
**A special thank you to Shelbie, who provided some of the pictures from the shower!
